{"id":422,"date":"2013-08-27T18:25:17","date_gmt":"2013-08-27T23:25:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mikesmods.com\/mm-wp\/?p=422"},"modified":"2013-09-09T20:05:34","modified_gmt":"2013-09-10T01:05:34","slug":"miscellaneous-updates-2013-08-27","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/mikesmods.com\/mm-wp\/?p=422","title":{"rendered":"Miscellaneous updates, 2013-08-27"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been quite a long while since I&#8217;ve posted anything, so I just wanted to put something up to reaffirm that I&#8217;m still here \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>It has been a busy few weeks for me in the world\u00a0 outside my workbench, so progress has been slow on the active projects.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s an overview of what&#8217;s going on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Macbook &#8220;full-featured&#8221; controller board:\u00a0 Boards hare arrived, waiting on component delivery (due Thursday).\u00a0 This will include demos of some new and lower-cost components which will eventually make their way into other boards.<\/li>\n<li>iPad &#8220;full-featured&#8221; controller board:\u00a0 On hold pending redesign for cost reduction and results of Macbook hardware evaluation (as much of the hardware is shared).\u00a0 Will leapfrog the Macbook and iPad boards until I am satisfied with how they work.\u00a0 Also am working on the software for this board.\u00a0 I&#8217;m really trying to get a USB firmware update utility built, but I&#8217;m new to the Kinetis platform so I&#8217;m having some trouble.\u00a0 Has anyone out there built a DFU loader for a KL25 that can share some pointers?
